| E4 | Haier | Means the machine has not reached the required water level within a set time, from not filling, filling too slowly, or draining at the same time. It is usually caused by low water pressure, blocked filters, or a kinked inlet hose. | High |
| E10 | Hoover | Means the machine fails to take in water, takes in too little, or takes too long to fill. It is usually caused by a faulty drum or water pressure sensor, a blockage, a jammed filter, or a communication error between the control board and the motor controller. | High |

General fitting guidance. The exact steps can vary slightly with the make and model of your washing machine.
Safety: Switch off at the mains and turn off the water supply before you start.
A solenoid fill inlet valve controls the flow of water into the machine during the fill cycle. It is an electromechanical valve that opens and closes based on signals from the washing machine's control board.
It also allows water to enter the washer when needed and shutting off the water supply when the appropriate water level is reached.
The most common signs include the washing machine not filling with water at all, not filling with the correct amount of water, or water continuously flowing into the machine even when it is not in use.
You may observe water leakage around the valve area or hear a constant humming sound from the valve when it is malfunctioning.
This solenoid fill water inlet valve is a genuine Indesit washing machine spare part. It also fits Ariston, Hotpoint, Scholtes, and Whirlpool washing machines. Use our compatibility checker to see if this part fits your model.
Bought this part from Ransom Spares in the UK as I could not find it in Ireland. Thankfully they ship to ROI. Item was sent quickly from company but held up by Royal post in the UK (thanks brexit). When it finally arrived I was able to replace my water inlet valve quickly and the issue of water filling up in my washing machine is now solved. Fitted and works perfectly with my Candy washing machine. Thanks.
Product arrived 1 day later than suggested on the order site. Exact product specification, and fitted easily. Cured my problem.
I was a bit unsure at first as I self diagnosed the problem with my washing machine, with no real knowledge of them. I bought this and watched a youtube video and everything was sorted in about 20 mins, very easy to install and does the job perfectly at a great price.
This was fairly easy to fit ,but that down how product made on the original was twist fitting and other have two screws fixing and nothing do with the high quality product that I purchased and highly recommend company for their speedy delivery and the customer care .this saved me money in long run and I'm living the dream !
Ordered to replace a frost damaged valve, prompt delivery, identical replacement, easily fitted in minutes.
