What does the pressure piston do for the pressure washer?

my K4 pressure washer was leaking badly from under the metal housing at the top of the pump. This was a hairline split in the plastic manifold. The change is tricky but only needs basic tools. Recommend replacing the O-rings at the same time. If you don't want to dismantle the pressure pump with the sprung pistons, then hold them down with cable ties before undoing the metal housing. You will have to retrieve some internal parts from the old manifold to instal in the new one. Take an hour or so, but so much better and cheaper than throwing away a perfectly good pressure washer. Ransom Spares have all the necessary parts for a complete overhaul of the pressure washer. Buy the O-ring seal kit set, the triangular form seal, metal fork and O-ring seal gasket at the same time.
