Hotpoint Washing Machine Dispenser Hose
1. Access old dispenser hose
Firstly, remove the two screws on the rear holding the washing machine lid in place.

Remove washing machine lid
Remove the lid and place it to one side.

Remove screws
The detergent powder dispenser drawer and hopper run from the front of the machine all the way to the rear.

Remove the two screws holding the hopper assembly to the water inlet fill valve. A little tip, make some pots with labels for each part, so you know which screws are for which.

Unscrew the four screws holding the tie bar in place.

Remove the bar and then put it to one side.

Remove the two screws holding the control panel in place.

Next, remove the two screws holding the control panel in place with the dispenser drawer.

Remove soap dispenser drawer
Next, slightly lift the soap drawer up on the right side to unclip and then slide it out of the dispenser drawer.

Unclip control panel
To remove the front control panel, gently unclip the plastic clip circled in orange. There should also be one below the dispenser drawer.

Unclip the control panel from the machine.

The control panel can then be placed to one side on top of the machine.

Unclip inlet fill valve
Unclip the dispenser drawer from the water inlet fill valve.

Unclip old dispenser hose
The dispenser hose will be attached to the dispenser drawer with a rubber band. Unhook this.

Then slide off the old dispenser hose from below and place the drawer to one side.

2. Remove old dispenser hose
The dispenser hose is attached here.

To remove the old dispenser hose, simply pull it out and away from the drum

3. Install new dispenser hose
Unpack your new dispenser hose and use this as a chance to give your soap dispenser and the area where the new dispenser hose will be fitted, a good clean if needed.

The slit here in the hose is the part that connects to the drum, here.

The front rubber part of the new hose goes inside, and the rear rubber part sits on the outside.
A small amount of washing up liquid to lubricate the new hose can make the installation a little easier.

Attach your new dispenser hose to the drum. Make sure the seal of the hose is sitting correctly all the way around.

With washing-up liquid on your fingertip, lubricate the dispenser hose at the top, around the edges, on the inside.

4. Re-assemble washing machine
Now slide your dispenser drawer into the dispenser hose and attach the rubber band to the side.

Attach dispenser drawer to water inlet fill valve
Attach the dispenser drawer to the water inlet fill valve, making sure it’s pressed in place.

Re-attach control panel
Line up the holes on the washing machine panel with the pips on the control panel.

Make sure the new dispenser drawer is lifted up and sits on the control panel. You’ll hear the clips click into place.

The control panel will also sit flush to the washing machine with no gaps.

The new dispenser drawer will sit flush as well.

Re-screw screws in place
Re-screw the two screws back in to hold the new dispenser drawer to the control panel.

Attach soap dispenser drawer
Slide your soap dispenser along the door and lift it up slightly on the right side to click into place.

Make sure the door opens and closes smoothly.

Re-attach tie bar
Place the tie bar back on the washing machine.

Re-screw the four screws back in place.

Re-screw the two screws in place to hold the new dispenser drawer to the water inlet fill valve.

Re-attach lid
Re-attach the washing machine lid and click it into place.

Re-screw the two screws on the rear of the washing machine.

And that’s it, your new washing machine dispenser hose is all set to go!
