Bosch Dishwasher Door Latch Interlock
1. Remove old door latch interlock and door opening module
The door latch interlock on this Bosch model is found here, connected to the door opening module. On some other makes and models, the door latch interlock just needs some screws removed to replace it.

A little tip, check the underside of the door latch. The door may not be locking due to the latch being disengaged, as shown here. If this has accidentally happened, the door won't lock correctly.

Pull it forward into the correct position as shown and see if the door now locks. If it doesn’t, you’ll likely need to replace the door latch interlock.

On this Bosch dishwasher, the door latch interlock is held in place by two metal tabs. Pull these away with your pliers.

Pull the little plastic connector away with your flathead screwdriver as shown.

Pull the other plastic connector away as well.

Lift the magnetic tab up.

The door latch interlock can then be lifted up with your flathead screwdriver and removed from the dishwasher.

2. Remove door latch interlock from door opening module
To remove the door latch from the door opening module, use a blunt knife to unclip the door latch.

Then, with your flat head screwdriver, insert it into the holes on either side of the door latch and push the plastic clip in towards the door opening module. You should see the silver spring move.

Wiggle the door latch down and away to remove. It can be a little tight, so be careful.

3. Install new door latch interlock
Unpackage your new dishwasher door latch interlock.

Press in the white plastic connector on the door control model.

Clip the new door latch inner lock to the door opening module.

4. Attach to dishwasher
Slide it in and under the tab on the left side first, and then click it into place.

Pull the metal tabs back over the door latch to secure it in place.

Test to make sure the door locks correctly.

And that’s it, your new dishwasher door latch interlock is all set to go.
