Bosch Dishwasher Housing Mirror
1. Remove the Cabinet Door
If your dishwasher is an integrated model, the cabinet door needs to come off first. On this model it is held on by four T20 Torx screws. Some models use rounded screws for the door and flat screws to hold the control panel in place. Remove the four rounded top screws holding the cabinet door to the dishwasher, then detach the door and place it to one side.

2. Remove the Access Panel (Kick Plate)
You can keep the dishwasher upright for this repair, as it is only the access panel (also called the kick plate) that needs to come off. Pop on a pair of work gloves, then remove the two screws holding the access panel in place. Using a flat-head screwdriver, lift the access panel up and away.

3. Unclip the Display Module Connector
Locate the electrical connector for the display module and unclip it, so the access panel can be freed and worked on.

4. Remove the Old Housing Mirror
The housing mirror is located on the access panel. To remove it, simply slide it down and it will unclip. Take care here, as the metal edges of the panel can be sharp.

5. Fit the New Housing Mirror
Unpackage your new housing mirror and hold it with the longer plastic edge at the top. Insert it into position, then slide it downward until it clicks into place. The display module projects the light or status image into the housing mirror, and the mirror then redirects that projected image onto the kitchen floor.

6. Reconnect and Reassemble
Re-clip the electrical connector back onto the display module. Re-attach the access panel (kick plate) and secure it with the two Torx T20 screws. Finally, re-attach the cabinet door using the fixing brackets, lining up each screw end with the existing hole on the door and tightening. Repeat for the rest.

And that’s it — your new Bosch dishwasher housing mirror is fitted and ready to go. Need more Bosch dishwasher spare parts?
