Neff dishwasher door spring and cable
The part was exactly what I needed to repair the spring and cable which had snapped and made the door drop suddenly when opened. I couldn't fit it myself though and needed a plumber to do this which cost me £40.

Easy to fit and great product.
Fast delivery of part and exactly what I needed to fix my dishwasher. Instructions provided to make fitting easy and straight forward. Dishwasher now good as new. Definitely much cheaper than paying a technician to come and fix it. Would definitely use Randomspares again in future🙂

Easy to fit product for any diy'er
This is an easy to fit product. The challenge is dismantling the exterior dishwasher panels, however only takes a short time with patience and the right tools (I had to buy a new Allen key "star head" set - but still works out far cheaper than calling in a dishwasher technician to carry out a simple fit).

Great product, easy to fit
Parts to mend broken dishwasher door, easy to fit - didn't take husband long to replace on both sides and we now have a fully functioning dishwasher door that no longer crashes to the floor when opening !

Good replacement
Door spring replacement on 5 year old Bosch built in dishwasher . . As someone had previously mentioned this replacement is slightly better than the original where the anchor point on the machine is now metal. The original was a plastic moulding which had shattered. Come in pairs and you are recommended to replace both. Fitting is fairly straightforward.

First class replacement part
I purchased this door hinge repair kit for my Bosch dishwasher as I was finding it difficult to find the exact spare part for my model. The repair kit arrived very quickly and I have today fitted it to my dishwasher door. The replacement part was not exactly the same as the original fitting but was in fact a much better product as it had metal components whereas the original had plastic which was the cause of the failure. I had to replace the springs as well as the door rope as the original spring had a plastic attachment for the door rope, and it was this plastic attachment that had broken. The new springs had metal fittings. It was not difficult to fit the new springs and door rope and it has given me a much strong hinge fitting. So, the repair kit does what it should, was not difficult to fit and was delivered very quickly. I would use Ransom Spares again

Better product than original
The new door spring has a metal connector between the spring and cord rather than a plastic connector which had split apart. Old spring was a bit awkward to remove but new spring slotted into place quite easily.

Siemens Dishwasher Door Springs
Easy to fit - but had to lower the legs a little to prize the dishwasher away from the unit - rear up/down was by a screw at the front - and it might have helped if they had explained how to do that. Original plastic moulding holding spring had sheared earlier so the new style (metal ) fixings were a designed improvement. I expect all models would need this replacement after 2 years!! Had to be fitted in pairs - but I noticed many sites only offered one replacement - that's why I went for Ransom - although I had to wait for them to get the parts in from Bosch before they sent them out.
