Simple fit
This product is straightforward to fit. The fiddliest stage I found was fitting the cord to the springs as the connecting lug on the string is a very tight fit in the spring bracket. Just check you have the correct screwdriver to access the springs under the side covers. (Mine needed Torx/star screwdriver bits)

Easy to fit, works perfectly

Perfect product & service
My integrated Bosch dishwasher door would drop rapidly due to a broken plastic end plate breaking. It occasionally caught our shins when dropping, which was painful due to the weight of the door. I used RansomSpares part locator to find the correct parts and was pleased to see that the fragile plastic end plates had been improved by changing them to metal. Fitting the springs was easy and there are plenty of videos on YouTube that also help guide you from start to finish with replacing both springs. Delivery was very quick, and I was kept informed by both RansomSpares and the courier. I will definitely use RansomSpares again if I need any appliance spares. Great product, great value, and great service!

Good Replacement
Bought to replace Bosch dishwasher door springs. Was a bit of a fiddly job but not due to the part itself. Part has held up fine for some time now so a good quality and would buy again if needed.

Better engineered part than original
The web page information was particularly useful and the parts were good value. The original parts had plastic components in the load path that failed. The replacement parts had used steel instead, obviously an original design shortfall. The original parts had lasted seven years in fairness and the door had been operated several times a day so I can't complain.

Good value product, good fitting instructions
The springs and rope arrived on time. Very competitive compared with my usual supplier of spares. Fitting instructions were accurate. Took just 10 mins to replace the broken part. This is now the 2nd order from Ransom and I plan to continue doing so.

Great solution and easy to fit
Our dishwasher door had gone into free fall when the existing ropes had both broken. After a bit of research on line, it appeared this was the solution. Quick delivery and easy to remove the old parts and replace with the new ones and the dishwasher is now as good as new.

Great product, corrected the mistakes on original
Just at looking at these parts compared to the original ones, you can see where they have improved them in all areas. Easy to fit and excellent quality.

Good Product, DIY fit
Used product before for another repair, hence re-order. Easy to fit for the patient DIY'er. Takes a little time (c15/20 minutes) and isn't for those in a rush, but remember how much you save versus having the engineer in......and you don't have to wait!
