Quality product easy to fit
Took the opportunity to fit a replacement bearing to my tumble dryer while it was broken down due to a faulty timer switch. Parts were easily available on the Ransomes web site and delivery was quick. Found the parts easy to fit and after a good clean the dryer was as good as new. I also saved myself some money and I am delighted.

Great product, would benefit from more fitting advice
This a great package, that has hopefully saved me buying a new drier. It comprises Hotpoint spares, which gives great confidence. However whilst fitting the shaft onto the drum is well explained, removing and refitting the drum is not. Checking on the internet, the service manual is no longer available, so advice on dismantling and rebuilding the drier would have saved me hours.

Did the job!
Only gave ease of fitting less stars as I had to grind old the drive shaft off of the drum. Once I’d done that fitting this product was easy. My drier is now spinning and drying beautifully and I’ve saved myself a tidy sum just before Christmas. I wish I’d bought the belt from here too as I paid about 3 times the price from another supplier. I found the tips from other supplier helpful too. Would definitely buy from here again 👍

Drier drum bearings
Had to change the drum bearing on an Indesit dryer and located a set of parts online at Ransomes. Part numbers were matched and ordered online and received in four days. We fitted it and it works superbly. The quality and price both excellent and cost far less than a service engineer's quote. It pays to shop around and self-service easy accessible parts. Will certainly use Ransom Spares again.

Great service from Ransomspares
This was the first time I have used Random Spares, I,m not in the trade and I also ordered at Xmas. The part for my tumble dryer was delivered and fitted by my wife and it is working a treat. Fitted perfectly
Part was great value, and fitted perfectly. Having already stipped thd dryer down is was a quick fit, but you do need to remove the top and front to get access. For the cost, this saved getting a new machine, so well worth it.

DRUM SHAFT KIT
what can i say does what is says on packet. Be warned keep at least a couple of hrs spare when doing this job as there is a fair bit of taking apart and cleaning of the old seals. so not for the faint hearted..;-)...This kit is also compatible with other dryers not stated like my Aquarius TDC32P so do some research before being put off buying this...the only gripe i had was the plate that holds the rear bearing was not included with this pack so had to buy different kit for that piece....But still very happy as its still much cheaper than a new dryer....Time will tell with quality but suspect something else will fail first before these parts need doing again
