No need for an electrician to fit this.
Delivery of the item was good although in the Highlands delivery always takes longer than for the south. You don't require an electrician to fit this. Any competent person can do it. DON'T FORGET to switch off/remove the main fuse though and then disconnect the supply! Ransom's video shows the method for fan replacement. A screwdriver is required to remove the oven backplate and a spanner for the fan nut. The fan motor itself just pushes into place but do remember to push the locking tab back into place at the end. Summary - Good value and home do-able!

Fan oven stopped producing heat
My fan assisted oven stopped producing heat and I was about to buy a new one from curry’s and pay for fitting. It’s the week before Xmas so times wasn’t in my side. I found ransom spares whilst searching for Why the heat doesn’t work but fan does. They had a very useful video and instruction of why it would have happened. So it gave me the confidence to order the heat king element which the instructions explained how so I got the correct one. Also the video showed how to fit it. I paid for next day delivery which, unfortunately didn’t turn up. I emailed and they apologised and refunded the delivery payment. I received the part the day after which like the video took me 10-15 mins to fit. Great instructional video and written instructions. And to be fair it was probably the fault of Royal Mail re the delivery. Very happy customer Thanks
