How do basket wheels work for your dishwasher?

The dishwasher's baskets and racks have basket wheels attached to the bottom to roll along the rails inside the dishwasher.The wheels contain a little axle that spins and give the baskets the mobility they need to slide into and out of the dishwasher. 

The racks can be simply pulled out for loading or placed back in for cleaning.
