1. Access the door handle
Firstly, remove the lid, using your Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws at the rear of the machine.

Remove the lid and place to one side.

Gently move back the drum, using a small flathead screwdriver slide the probe along to release the washing machine door.

2. Remove old door seal
Using your Torx screwdriver, remove the two screws to detach the washing machine door from the machine.

Next, using your Phillips screwdriver, remove the 6 screws around the door frame.

Using a small flathead screwdriver, pry the outer door away from the inner door frame working your way round.

Turn the door frame over, lift the outer door frame and the glass away, placing them both to one side.

Using a small flathead screwdriver, insert it into the hole to slide the metal pin across as far as you can.

Turn the door frame over, using a pair of pliers pull the metal bar along and out to remove the old handle.

3. Install new door handle
Reassemble the new door handle, placing the spring, latch, metal pin and handle in place.

Line everything up, then tap the metal pin into place using a pair of pliers.

Re-assemble the door, lining the glass groove up with the inner door frame.

Attach the outer door frame, clicking it back into place.

Turn the door over and replace the 6 screws.

Re-attach the door to the machine.

Re-fit the lid and re-screw the screws back in place.

And that’s it, your new Indesit washing machine door handle is all set to go!
