Hotpoint Washing Machine Mains Cable Power Lead Wire 1.75M
1. Remove screws and lid
Remove the screw fixing the casing to the back.
Next, remove the two screws that hold the lid in place.
Then, remove the lid and place to one side.
2. Remove old mains cable power lead
To remove the mains cable power lead, gently push up from the inside and pull the cable up as shown. It will then unclip and you can remove it from the washing machine.
If needed, take a photo so you have a reference of the original wiring.
Then, remove the wiring connectors.
3. Install new mains cable power lead
With your new mains cable power lead, connect the wiring as before and thread everything back into the washing machine.
Slide the casing down to clip everything in place.
4. Re-attach lid and screws
Then, re-attach the washing machine lid.
Re-screw the screw holding the new mains cable power lead to the back of the washing machine.
Re-screw the two screws holing the washing machine lid in place.
And that’s it, your new washing machine mains cable power lead wire is all set to go!
