Hotpoint Washing Machine 10 Hole Drum Paddle Lifter
1. Remove old drum paddle
On the 5th hole of the paddle, push down with your screwdriver to lower the hidden tab, which holds the paddle in place.
Then, slide the paddle back towards you to unclip it from the washing machine drum. It might be stiff and require a bit of force.
The paddle can then be removed from the washing machine.
2. Install new drum paddle
Unpackage your new paddle. Depending on the make and model, drum paddles can vary in appearance and the number of holes.
Lift the tab on the washing machine drum. This ensures the new paddle is connected correctly.
Make sure the paddle is attached the correct way around. Here, the two pips should be facing towards you.
The clips on the underside of the new paddle slot into the openings on the washing machine drum.
Once in place, push the paddle forward to clip into place.
And that’s it, your new drum paddle is all set to go!
