Hotpoint Washing Machine Door Hinge Bolt
1. Remove door, if required
There are two door hinge bolts on this Hotpoint model. Sometimes the door will need to be removed to easily access the bolts.
If the door needs to be removed, unscrew the four screws holding it to the door hinge. Make sure you’re supporting the door, or ask for help, as you don’t want to drop and damage it.
Place the door to one side.
2. Remove old door hinge bolt
The bolt can then be removed with your 7mm socket.
Unpack your new door hinge bolt.
3. Install new door hinge bolt
With your new bolt, begin to thread it in by hand.
Then, finish it off with your screwdriver or ratchet.
4. Re-attach door, if required
Re-attach the door to the door hinge.
Re-screw the four screws back in place. Again, make sure to support the door.
Check to make sure the door opens and closes correctly.
And that’s it, your new door hinge bolt is all set to go!
