In this video, we'll show you the best way to clean your Candy washing machine filter. If debris becomes stuck in your filter your washing machine will run inefficiently causing draining problems.
Does the filter need cleaning regularly?
In short, yes! You should aim to inspect your filter at least once a month if you're using your Candy washing machine every day. Planned maintenance will keep your appliance running for longer saving you money in the end.
1. Open the filter door
The filter door is located at the bottom of the washing machine and will simply pull down.

2. Pull out the drain hose
On this model, there is a convenient drain hose so that you can remove any water that is lying idle in the sump and pump.

3. Empty any water
Place the drain hose into a bowl and remove the rubber bung to drain the water.

4. Remove and Clean
The filter can now be removed by unscrewing counterclockwise. The filter and filter housing can now be inspected and thoroughly cleaned.
