Bosch Dishwasher Clips

1. Locate the Clips

Unplug the dishwasher from the mains before starting any repair work. Pull the lower basket assembly out of the dishwasher and place it on a flat surface.

The four main central clips that hold the rack inserts in place are found along the centre of the basket wireframe. Don't confuse these with the smaller clips elsewhere on the basket — you're after the four larger central ones.

2. Remove the Old Clips

Using the end of your pliers or a flathead screwdriver, press the bottom end of your tool against the clip to unclip it from the lower basket wireframe. Pop each old clip out of the basket and discard them.

3. Fit the New Clips

Unpack your new clips. If you need to replace more than one, the process is exactly the same for each. Attach the clip to the basket wireframe, making sure the square cutout sits higher up than the oval cutout, then click it firmly into place.

Test that the wireframe the new clip is connected to is now solid and doesn't slide up from the bottom. Once you're happy, slide the lower basket assembly back into the dishwasher.

And that's it — your new basket clips are fitted and your dishwasher rack inserts should now stay securely in place. Need more Bosch dishwasher spare parts?
