Bosch Dishwasher Insulating Plate
1. Remove the Cabinet Door
If your dishwasher is an integrated model, the cabinet door needs to be removed from the front first. Unplug the dishwasher from the mains before starting any repair work.
On this Bosch model, the cabinet door is held in by four T20 Torx screws. Some models use rounded screws for the cabinet door and flat screws for the control panel and outer front door panel — unscrew the four rounded top screws holding the cabinet door to the dishwasher. Once they're out, detach the cabinet door and place it to one side.

2. Weigh Down the Door and Remove the Outer Panel Screws
With the cabinet door off, the dishwasher door will try to spring closed because it's lost the counterweight. Hold it open by placing something heavy inside, like a milk carton or a bag of flour.
Now remove the four Torx T20 screws holding the outer front door panel in place. The two Torx T20 screws in the middle that held the cabinet door will also need to come out fully. You can leave the top two screws in place.

3. Replace the Insulation Plate
With the screws out, slide the outer front door panel down and away from the dishwasher. Remove the old insulation plate from the inside of the panel.
Unpack your new insulation plate. It has two sides — one with a curved pattern and one with straight lines. The curved pattern must face up. Place the new plate into the outer door panel in the correct orientation.

4. Refit the Outer Front Door Panel
Attach the outer front door panel back to the dishwasher by lining up the slots with the plastic tabs underneath the control panel. Lower the door and screw the four Torx T20 screws back into place.
Then thread the two longer screws for the cabinet door back into their middle positions and tighten them up.

5. Reattach the Cabinet Door
Finally, reattach the cabinet door to the dishwasher by the fixing brackets at the bottom. Line up each screw end with the existing holes on the cabinet door and tighten. Repeat for the others until all four screws are secured.

And that's it — your new insulation plate is fitted behind the outer front door panel, ready to improve your dishwasher's thermal and sound insulation. Need more Bosch dishwasher spare parts?
