Bosch Dishwasher Thread Bolt & Seal1. Remove old thread bolt
Start off by removing the lower basket.

This thread bolt and seal is found here on the left side of the dishwasher.

Unscrew and pull out. If it's tight, loosen with a pair of pliers.

2. Remove plastic cover
Next, remove the plastic cover.

Place this to one side.

3. Remove side panel
To replace the rubber seal, the side panel needs to be removed. Start off by unscrewing the Torx T20 screw on the front of the dishwasher.

The side panel can then be removed and placed to one side.

Then remove the two Torx T20 screws holding the water inlet side chamber in place.

Screw 2.

Unclip the two connectors (top and bottom) holding the side chamber to the dishwasher housing.

Pull the side chamber slightly away from the dishwasher.

4. Remove old rubber seal
Looking down to the bottom of the side chamber, you’ll find the rubber seal. Remove this.

5. Attach new thread bolt and seal
Unpackage your new thread bolt and seal.
The rubber seal attaches to the side chamber like so, with the thread bolt going in as shown.

Attach the new rubber seal to the side chamber.

Reassemble side
Re-clip the two connectors (top and bottom) from the side chamber to the dishwasher housing.

Re-screw the two Torx T20 screws back in place.

Re-attach the side panel by lining up the two slots with the two small plastic tabs on the bottom of the dishwasher.

Line these up and then pull the panel up to connect it in place.

Re-screw the front Torx T20 screw back in place.

Attach new thread bolt
Screw your new thread bolt on from inside the dishwasher.

Tighten with a pair of pliers if needed.

Re-attach plastic cover
Then, re-attach your plastic cover from inside the dishwasher and tighten with a pair of pliers.

Re-insert your lower basket.

And that’s it, your new dishwasher thread bolt and seal is all set to go.
