1. Access drain hose
Firstly, using your flathead screwdriver remove the two clips at the front of the machine to release the lid.
Remove the lid and place to one side.
Next, remove the left hand side panel.
Open the dishwasher door, then using your Phillips screwdriver remove the two screws at the front of the machine to release the side panel.
Remove the left hand side panel and place it to one side.
2. Remove old drain hose
Using a medium flat head screwdriver, unclip the small white cover that secures the inlet valve and the drain hose in place.
Tip: Use a small flat head screwdriver to lift the cover out of place.
Holding the white cover out of the way, push to release the drain hose from its bracket.
Next, remove the water matrix.
Firstly, remove the bolt on the inside of the machine.
Using a pair of long nose pliers, unscrew the cover and seal.
Using your Phillips screwdriver, remove the two torx screws on the outside of the machine.
Next, disconnect the inlet hose, using a pair of long nose pliers to pinch together the metal hose clamp ring.
Using a flat head screwdriver, pry off the inlet hose.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the fan.
Also remove the electrical connector from the valve.
Using your flat head screwdriver, undo the two clips on the right hand side of the water matrix.
Place a cloth behind the water matrix to soak up any water when removing it.
Lift the water matrix up to disconnect, placing your finger over the water outlet.
Place the water matrix into a washing up bowl to capture the remaining water.
Finally, remove the old drain hose, pushing it back and out of place.
3. Install new drain hose
Re-fit the drain hose, feeding it back through the machine.
Secure the drain hose in place, locate the groove and push it back into its bracket.
Re-fit the water matrix, clipping it back into place.
Re-connect the inlet hose, using your long nose pliers to replace the metal hose clamp ring.
4. Re-assemble dishwasher
Re-connect the two electrical connectors to the fan and valve terminal.
Re-fit the cover and seal on the inside of the machine, using a pair of pliers to tighten them in place.
Re-attach the nut.
Secure the drain hose in place, locate the groove and push it back into its bracket.
Re-fit the white cover, clipping it back in place.
Re-fit the two talk screws.
Re-fit the side panel.
Re-screw the screws back in place.
Re-fit the lid, clipping it back into place.
And that’s it, your new Bosch Dishwasher drain hose is all set to go!
