Bosch Dishwasher Foot/Leg

1. Locate and Remove the Old Foot/Leg

Unplug the dishwasher from the mains and carefully lean it on its back, keeping some towels handy in case any water escapes. The middle rear adjustable leg or foot is located in the centre of the rear base — don't confuse it with the white corner legs.

With your flathead screwdriver, rotate the foot clockwise to raise it all the way up and fully out of the dishwasher. As you remove the foot, the plastic gear wheel from inside the dishwasher will drop out as well. Keep it to one side — you'll need it when fitting the new foot.

2. Connect the New Foot/Leg to the Gear Wheel

Unpack your new rear adjustable foot and leg. Inside the dishwasher, the rear foot connects to the plastic gear wheel you kept from the previous step. Hold the new foot next to the gear wheel to see how they slot together before you install them.

3. Fit the New Foot/Leg

Place the plastic gear wheel back inside the dishwasher and hold it in position with the teeth facing towards the bottom of the machine. Slot the new foot into the base of the dishwasher, then use your flathead screwdriver to turn it anticlockwise, lowering the foot into place.

Take your time here — it can take quite a few turns to screw the foot fully in and flush with the base.

4. Level the Dishwasher

Stand the dishwasher back upright. With the new foot fitted, you can now adjust the rear middle foot along with the four corner feet using a wrench to get your dishwasher sitting nice and level. A properly levelled machine prevents excessive vibration, noise and drainage issues.

And that's it — your new adjustable rear foot is fitted and ready to keep your dishwasher running quietly and level. Need more Bosch dishwasher spare parts?
