Drum shock absorber kit for stabilised spin cycles
Within a washing machine, a drum shock absorber lessens vibrations while stabilising the drum during the spin cycle. As it absorbs the shock and movement caused by the revolving drum, it lowers the machine's excessive shaking or bouncing.

Excellent product
Fitted these to my 15 year old Hotpoint as the drum was banging around badly while trying to balance for spin - now its almost like having a new machine again. The old ones I took out had completely failed.

Great solution
These replacement dampers have transformed our ageing Hotpoint from a shaking monster on spin to a smooth machine like it was when new. Easy to fit thanks to the Ransom Spares video. Great value too - better than buying a new machine - thanks

Hotpoint washing machine shock absorbers
Ordered new shock absorbers as old washing machine was leaping around during spin cycle. Parts were easy to order, arrived quickly and were a better design than originals fitted. Shocks were straightforward to fit as demonstrated on several U-tube videos and certainly improved performance but not 100% so decided to remove the drum (a big job) and found that the spider mount had cracked and failed. Cost and effort of replacing that plus new bearings etc was prohibitive so bought a new machine. Oh well . . . .

Good product, qhick to fit, can make a significant difference to machine
This is one of those parts that may not appear to have worn, but when fitted it becomes very apparent just how bad the old ones had got. The usual symptom is that during spin cycles, the drum does it's best to escape from the cabinet if there's more than one towel in the machine, with worrying noises as it does it. These parts can be fitted relatively easily without much dismantling, and the improvement is instant, I have already ordered another set for a different machine that has the same issues.

New shock absorbers.
Old ones seemed ok but had been in for 13yrs so thought a good idea to replace. Glad I did as an improvement in the machines stability when spinning.

Dampering down at last
I purchased a SUSPENSION DAMPER KIT for my washing machine which at every wash time has been leaping and bounding around the laundry room for about a year now. In North Cyprus I could not find a replacement. Ransom spares solved the problem despatching my part in good time and sending an easily installable new part. An excellent service and I am very happy overall. thank you

Product did the job, OK to fit
These dampers returned the washing machine to 'as new' operation - it was nearly jumping around the kitchen bfore these were fitted. They are provided with pegs to attach them to the drum, the first of which was quite hard to push into place but made easier with the second by greasing before fitting.
