Description
Energy efficient and watertight seal during drying cycles
A tumble dryer door's door seal gasket forms an airtight barrier between the dryer drum and the door. You get efficient and effective drying while reducing energy consumption when it prevents hot air from escaping the dryer throughout the drying process.
The gasket helps in keeping debris and lint inside the dryer and prevent them from leaking outside.
Why does it get damaged?
Frequent opening and closing of the dryer door cause wear and tear on the gasket and lead to cracks, tears, or deformations. Exposure to high temperatures and continuous contact with moisture or detergents cause the gasket material to degrade over time.
Sharp objects or accidental mishandling during loading and unloading of laundry can result in damage to the door seal gasket.

Great product excellent price works perfectly - Thank you!!
Easy to fit door seal
The original seal had a small tear which was allowing steam to escape. This new one was easy to fit in around 30 seconds and has completely stopped the steam problem. Be aware that the first couple of times using the machine after fitting a new seal the door may pop open during the cycle because the new seal is so thick. It takes up shape quickly though.
