Description
The capacitor boosts your tumble dryer’s power
When the tumble dryer's motor kicks in, the capacitor releases energy, ramping up power output to hasten the motor's startup by reducing resistance and inertia. After the motor is up and running, the capacitor ensures a steady power supply for ongoing operation.
What damages the capacitor?
A dryer capacitor has a finite lifespan, just like any other electronic component. It might endure normal wear and tear over time, which could cause a deterioration in function and lead to failure.
The capacitor may overheat due to excessive heat created inside the dryer from continuous use, inadequate ventilation, or defective parts. High temperatures can cause the dielectric material to deteriorate, which can cause the capacitor to break down or lose capacitance.
How do you install a new capacitor?

Worked fine
The item arrived after quite some time but this was probably due to the time of year ordered (Christmas). It was easy to install sliding into the slot, do remember to discharge the capacitor first.
