12 Year old Hotpoint Washer lives on
Filter was blocked and leaking. Removing it broke the inside of it. Pump had been on the washing machine from new which was over 12 years ago. Found an old pound coin which just about had texture left. This was a direct replacement. Bit of a mission getting it on in terms of lifting the machine. Used to car jacks on each corner with blocks of wood so I could work under the washer. Swapped straight out, plugged it back in, all good, no more leaking. Job done. Have used ransomspares before for parts for oven and tumble in the past. No dramas.

Exactly What I Needed
Almost identical to original pump & filter (differences are very minor & don’t affect fitting or operation) & therefore exactly what I needed.

Washing machine pump, exactly replica and easy to fit
My father's washing machine broke down and with Covid-19 a replacement machine was a problem. So I ordered a spare part from Ransom Spares and repaired his Hotpoint Washing machine. It was easy to diagnose the pump as the problem and it took about an hour to replace the part. Straightforward to do and the exact same part made it easy.

Tips on fitting would be helpful
Five star review but tips on fitting - the washing machine is very heavy. In my case, fitting was made easier by lowering the machine on it left side (facing). After that is was an easy job.

Good parts
I had to replace as when removing old one the tork screws eroded and I couldn't put pump back on filter, to my surprise the new part pump part didn't have tork screws so I figured this must have been an issue for others, that was sorted by the company, extremely easy to fit just need plyers for attaching the pipes took all of 5mins x

Great product
Went for original part just to be on safe side .not a hotpoint fan.this unit has a10 year parts warranty but you have to have a hotpoint engineer at £110 a go.luckily we have ransomspares

Great product and service
Found we had a faulty pump on our Hotpoint Aqualtis washing machine which is now out of warranty. As I signed up for Hotpoints 5 Year free spare parts guarantee, I phoned them to organise the replacement. They would not supply a FREE spare part unless their expensive Engineer came out to fit it so they offered to sell me one at over DOUBLE the price I subsequently paid Ransom Spares for their excellent pump. I will not buy Hotpoint again, but will definitely use Ransom Spares in future as their website made it very easy to find and purchase the correct replacement. The new pump arrived in two days and was a perfect fit. many thanks for a great service which I will highly recommend.

Perfect fit
I had an intermittent problem with my machine (WIXE 127) whereby sometimes it would drain but sometimes not and would be showing F 05 on display. Turns out the old pump had a dead spot hence the intermittent problem. The new pump was a direct replacement with no modifications required to the hoses or wiring. It was easy to fit and my machine works perfect now. I should add I have never fitted one of these before and was surprised how easy it was.

Brilliant and easy
We have never attempted to repair the washing machine before but this product is very easy to do particularly as they provide a video of how to do it. Customer service on the phone was brilliant, it arrived promptly, packaged well and appears to be good quality
