Great product

Bought this item when my Karcher was pulsing/hunting and a leak occurred wasn't sure initially what the problem was but having read some views of possible reasons, opted to go for this part. I stripped down the Karcher taking off the outer casing and then connected the water supply and from that I could see the leak had I not connected the supply I would have never spotted the leak, it was such a fine hair line fracture you would never have known it was there. Refitted the part and works perfectly fine good as new

the only company I could find on-line that stocked the actual part number for my machine. the right part

After receiving the incorrect part from a rival it was easy to find the correct item from ransoms and was cheaper too. My karcher pressure washer is now working as good as new.

It's a man thing

Bought this part with the cylinder, it was only this part that was cracked but I bought both as it was only pennies more than buying a gasket set and came complete-ish There were bits which needed re-fitting from the old parts. These parts are the only bits likely to fail in the Karcher and they're made of plastic which I think is a poor show. Remember to take your Karcher into the warm over winter or suffer the perils of replacing this bit. Not easy to fit as the whole shooting match is under the spring pressure of the pistons but rewarding when it works. Not so rewarding when you look in the Screwfix catalogue and realise you could have bought a new machine for a couple of quid more. It's a man thing you know; I am Man, I have mended something! Top marks to ransom's though, Knowledgeable and quick, price of parts seems to be a Karcher thing.

Brought my old Karcher back to life

When my Karcher K3.450 started 'pulsing' (if it's happened to you, you'll know what I mean) I searched online, where it was suggested an invisible hairline fault in the control head was to blame. A quick search directed me here to Ransom Spares, where the part was quickly located, despatched and received within 2 days. Fitted at the weekend in less than an hour, with a few tools the average home DIY'er would probably already have; and the machine is as good as new - problem 100% solved at a saving of roughly £200 vs a replacement machine - I'm happy, and would definitely use Ransom Spares again

Easier than expected

Had a leak in the outlet part of my pressure washer making it pulse. Found the casing had a hairline split. Ransom confirmed part number required for the model very quickly. Ordered online and arrived a couple of days later. With the right tools it is easy to disassemble and put back together. Make sure the unit is supported on the bench with the motor at the bottom before undoing the large allen bolts that hold it all together. Otherwise the oil inside the gearbox? will leak out. Did not need any other seals etc. ensure you keep the seals/O rings safe and clean to reuse. Rather than pay the Karcher cuentre for repairs this is a much cheaper option.

Easy to assemble

I bought this Karcher K4 Pressure washer spare parts- Housing & Pressure Controller and Quick Fit Adaptor- which arrived very promptly. I needed a special small screwdriver, which I luckily had in my tool box. I unscrewed six small screws to take off front and back covers. Then I needed a hexagon rod-type small spanner, which I also had to adjust my tread-mill roller-mat. With this tool, I unscrewed four long bolts holding the Electric motor and the water pump. I took out the old worn part, replaced it with the new spare and reassembled the whole thing. My pressure washer is working well now, thanks to Ransom Spares Company, UK.

Surprisingly easy repair to Karcher washer

I was on the verge of scrapping my £200 Karcher pressure washer but decided nothing to lose so I removed the casing and spotted a leak from a hairline leak. There are a lot of small and fiddly components but it was surprisingly easy to dismantle and extract and match the defective casing. The replacement was easy to identify through the code stamped on the old part and the detailed picture on Ransom website. Ordered pm one day and the replacement was delivered next morning. I was even more surprising when it worked perfectly after reassembling !!

Fixed my pulsing leak
