Fan Oven Element
Product arrived on time and was fitted to the oven - all working now. Not an issue with the product, but the original item was not the easy to remove. Needed to drill out one of the screws as it would not come undone. (CDA Oven)

Quick delivery, super helpful staff
The part seemed fine, nightmare to fit as our oven in sealed into the units either side but the best part of the service was the help received from the staff especially kevin! What a rarity to use a quick cheap service to get the parts but actually be able to speak to someone!!! Fantastic! Unfortunately, its turned out that element was fine but it was the lower element that needs replacement!!! Dahhh!!! Not the companys fault but mine. Hopefully the next one will prove easier to fit and make the oven work!!!

Great service; fitting trickier than expected
Great service - product as described, arrived within 48 hours. Only 2 stars for ease of fitting, as my particular oven has the bolts securing the element screwed in from the back, rather than accessible from the front, as per demo video - not Ransom's fault!

Quality product, could be difficult fit
So far, so good. Working well. Quality replacement. Not so easy to fit if you have to get access from the back (like me, so only 3 * for fitting), but this is a function of the cooker rather than the element.

Great Product
First time user. Item was the best price for a genuine part. Arrived within 4 days of order. Just in time to cook the weekend roast. Will use again, but not too soon I hope :)

Fiddly !
I have a Kenwood CK270 fan oven. To be fair this is the first element i have ever changed. Removing the original was fidley, but fitting the new one had problems. Basically I had to nut and bolt the element plate in place as the screws wouldnt work on the new element. (my oven seems to be different to normal ones !) Thankfully one of the guys at Ransom gave me this info, so it all got sorted but took me the best part of a day. Other than that, all working and good.

Saved us a few quid
Our oven 'exploded' recently and stopped working. We thought getting it repaired would cost a fortune and were searching the web for affordable ovens, wondering how we'd afford it when a last ditch google search for oven repairs brought me to this page. Ordered this part on the off chance and couldn't be happier. £20, quick delivery, fitted easily enough ourselves with the help of the video, problem sorted! Only thing I would suggest is more protective packaging. There was no problem with our part but was just on its own in a plastic envelope so potential for damage if delivered in a van carrying heavy items, or if Royal Mail tried to force it through letterbox.

Good element
Good element, sent quickly. Not packed terribly carefully, but arrived in good order all the same. I found it difficult to fit, but that was the fault of the oven (and the fitter) rather than the element. Overall, I would recommend this element.

Cannot praise Ransoms highly enough, from ordering to delivery, customer service when I rang with a query down to the actual fitting which was made easier by viewing the video available beforehand. Cannot fault them and will use again
