a review about a sheet of glass
This product is ludicrously expensive, for a simple sheet of (albeit reinforced) glass. It's a shelf. It happens to live in a fridge. It's not rocket science. If the manufacturer made the original product of a sensible width and quality, then we (as customers) wouldn't be spending loads of money to have the item replaced, every time more than three items were put on the shelf..............and the plastic shelf guides snapped. Yes, we've tried glueing the plastic back together. Yes, we've taped the plastic back together. Yes, we've glued AND taped the plastic back together. Has it worked? No. You can probably gather that I'm extremely irritated by having to buy replacements for shoddy workmanship in the first place. Just make your product correctly in the first instance - and you'll sell more. I understand that you are the wholesaler of these, and other, items. But I'd be really grateful if you would let the manufacturer know of my displeasure?

much needed part, saved the day
I urgently needed fridge shelf and when Googled came across Ransom Spares - Service was efficient and even when my part was delayed because of stock position I was informed all along of the status of my order. The part came really well wrapped and fitted straight into the fridge with no problems. I would definately use this company again. My only gripe would be the price but that is probably not down to Ransom Spares.
