The upper grill heating element delivers heat downward
The top grill heating element sends heat downward for a more even heating within the oven. This part makes sure the dish's top is heated evenly to prevent uneven cooking and undesired browning.
Why do grill heating elements fail?
Normal wear and tear from repeated use, exposure to high temperatures cause oxidation and degradation of the heating element. Manufacturing flaws or electrical problems such as short circuits or voltage fluctuations all contribute to the breakdown of grill heating elements over time.

Having viewed Youtube I decided that it was so easy to replace the grill element. I ordered the new part from Ransome Spares late on Thursday 13 August and it arrived on the morning of 18 August. After only an hour the grill in my Hotpoint oven was working perfectly. What a great service and at a reasonable price.

Great product
Fit perfectly into place and worked a treat, will certainly use company again when the need arises. Only attempt to fit this type of part if you are competent.
