Hi, the knob on my indesit hob doesn’t come on it just spins around if you pull it of the metal spoke like thing spins around, the knob and spring look fine so what’s happened

i have seven knobs on my cooker&hob unit one of the knobs i not the same WILLIAM i took them off to clean and do not no were this one goes hope you can help
