What for Hi I got a spare elbow and it came with silicon, there are no instructions, where do I put it? Thanks

Hi CVB, you would usually put the silicon on the O-rings at the fixing points of the elbow as this is the most likely place for water to leak. This should stop or prevent any water leaking through.
