This is a genuine water flow outer cover for your pressure washer.
Helps direct water flow efficiently so that the high-pressure jets hit their target without splashing everywhere. This keeps you dry and safe while cleaning your patio or garden surface.
Cracks or holes in the outer covering can let in debris, potentially damaging internal parts. If it’s loose or doesn’t fit snugly, it could reduce water pressure and efficiency. Change it with this part.

Item came quick, easy to fit only 4 bolts. Doesn’t come with bolts or seals but should be able to use the ones of the original machine unless damaged.
I made an earlier review after replacing one of these..... Within a day or 2 it cracked again, bending all 4 screws! A Lot of pressure was involved and can't have been from freezing! I was going to replace the one way valves when I discovered that Karcher feed what they call "recoil" back to this housing and rely on the flexible hose pipe to absorb the shockwave when the lance trigger is released. The supply hosepipe was fitted with a flowstop type coupling, it's internal valve prevented the back flow, presumably, this shockwave was not dispersed in the hosepipe and caused explosive failure of the housing. Check that the hosepipe is sufficiently long and that a free flowing adapter is fitted.
Does exactly what it says, easy to fit but I prefer to tap out threads in the mounting holes, M5 if memory serves this will almost guarantee that the bolt holes don’t split if you misalign the the self taping screws/bolts.
Water was leaking from the inlet side of a K7 pressure washer, connecting hose with the main cover off revealed water leaking from that the inlet housing, which acts as a motor cooling jacket, it had cracked around where the plastic water inlet connector inserts, presumably water had frozen and caused the damage. With the model number, Ransom Spares site allowed me to identify the correct part, and associated O rings which seal this against the motor. The replacement component is the same as the original, with thin cast alloy which is a tight fit against the seals. a long shafted torx driver was required to fit into the screw heads without the handle fouling against the motor. Care and patience was required to snug down the screws in a number of stages to avoid jamming the cover or damaging the screw threads. Lots of disassembly is necessary. Order seals for the high pressure hose spindle, 2 large O rings (different items), water inlet seals and a press-on wheel retaining washer.
The holes don’t have any threads, do I cut threads myself with a tap? Or should it have come with the threads already there? Thanks
Hi Jacob, this is a soft metal, so they threads will cut as you screw them in.
