MOTOR PLANET GEAR WHEEL Both of the gears were mashed, so needed replacing, cheap fix rather than scraping the unit, but you will need to replace the Oil within the pump housing, this has got to be of the correct type, can’t just use car engine oil, Cost of this is around £17.00 for a Lt, but you will only need about 120ml, lots left over, still better the a full replacement, if you have decent DIY skills this is not a too bad job. What my unit did before I discover what had failed, hope this can help others..? • With water supply on, No leaks seen • When power applied, unit would just run continually • Water spray availably from lance but not under presser
Planet gear wheels arrived quickly and fitted perfectly in Karcher K2 compact washer to replace the mashed gear wheels. However unit still leaking on one cylinder. Can't decide whether to scrap the washer as beyond economical repair (BER) as new cylinder head is £60. when new washer is around £80...... Decisions, decisions!
Does the job fine, some diy skill needed to fit them
Fits perfectly as per the diagram provided on the website.
Good value replacement part & good service too. Some DIY skills needed to fit
Good morning. I would like to ask you if this product (MOTOR PLANET WHEEL Part Number: RS823371) is compatible with my washing machine which is Karcher k3 1.601- 812.0 tnx
Hi Nikos, I can confirm this is the correct motor planet wheel for your model.
When assembling the new Motor Planet Wheels, do I need to put some sort of oil in with them. As the old 1s were broken into loads of bits and flakes of plastic inside the pump. The reason I stripped it down was the fan stayed on continuously, once turned on and the inside of the washer casing had some sort of oil all over it.
Hi Steven, I'm afraid we're unable to offer technical or fitting advice. I'd recommend contacting an engineer to see if they're able to help. Please accept our apologies.
