This is a genuine grooved ring for your pressure washer.
Keeps your pressure washer performing at its best by securing the high-pressure outlet firmly to the pump head. Its grooved design ensures a snug, leak-free fit—so you get consistent pressure without slipping or spray loss while cleaning.
Over time, repeated exposure to water, pressure, and cleaning agents can cause wear or damage. If you’re seeing leaks or weaker spray, it could be time for a replacement. Fit this new part to restore top performance.
This grooved ring for your pressure washer is from Karcher.

Bought the grooved ring (3 required) after my 520M failed big time and the gearbox filled with water. Complete disassembly of the pump is quite ambitious and not for the faint hearted. The grooved ring almost looks like it is too big to fit and is the wrong part, but with a little silicone grease applied, and fitting by titling it in, then easing it into its housing it does fit. Don't be tempted to fit it in the wrong way around which looks easier and also make sure the housing was all the old lime scale etc removed. I also put my seals in hot water before fitting just to make them more supple as they are quite hard rubber. They do go in, in the end and fit very well! Once I had fitted all new seals and a new 'excess current' valve the Karcher worked better than ever.
Right then. If you've got the karcher units with a triangular pump and if it's not generating the pressure it once did, this will be the part that needs changing. Basically once these are changed the pistons fit their bores much tighter, reducing pressure bypassing. You'll need a sharp flat bladed screwdriver and some patience to change these out, but it's well worth it.
