saved me buying a new Kärcher
my pressure washer went erratic. then stopped pressuring water altogether. only a quiet. buzzing noise was left to give any indication of life when powered up. The motor on this K5 is a simple one-phase job with a starter winding with a capacitor to impart a phase shift to run the motor. taking the washer apart is a matter of tracking down all the hidden T25 screws. once done, the capacitor was obviously dead and easily replaced. reassembled and washer is back to full power. Easy job.

good product
Easy to find on website, slightly more expensive than some others but wanted a genuine part. easy to fit into pressure washer electrical box. good fit. only two terminals to connect that were not polarity conscious due to running on ac power. turned on unit and motor started up as it should do. the capacitor fixed the problem. recommended product and would recommend Ransome Spares for all spare parts.
