How To Fit/Replace Henry Hoover Bags
Hi, I’m Lee from Ransom Spares. Today I’m going to be talking about the 3 layer Hepa flow filter vacuum cleaner bags for Henry vacuum cleaners and I’ll also be showing you how to fit them correctly. These particular bags fit any of the 180, 200, and 250 series of machines made by Numatic which include Henry, Hetty, Henry Extra, and James;
You can find which model you have by looking at the identification plate which can be found here, this one is a HVR200A.
First of all a little bit about these bags. HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air. This basically means that these bags are capable of trapping large amounts of very small particles which other vacuum cleaner bags would simply recirculate back in to the air of your home or office. These particles are particularly problematic for allergy sufferers and others with skin or respiratory issues, so using HEPA flow bags will help significantly if you, your family or work colleagues are do suffer from allergy’s. What you shouldn’t do is wait until your bags are full before changing them, this puts unnecessary strain on the suction motor and is liable to reduce its life over time. Fitting the Henry bags is really simple,
First we need to pull the clips out and remove Henry’s head. Now remove the pre-motor filter which itself should be replace about every 6 months if used daily, remove the old bag and dispose of it, and place the new bag over the bag connector ensuring that it is pushed all the way on. Replace the pre-motor filter, pop Henry’s head back on top, and secure the clips,
And there you have it - your henry cleaner is good to go again. All Henry Spare parts and accessories are available online at the Ransom Spares website. Thanks for watching!
