Good product
The start button went loose and then wasn't useable.Thankfully this button unit was available as a Spare part,and a genuine whirlpool one too,so good quality. The fitting wasn't to bad,a little tricky,but know works great.

IS IT POSSIBLE FOR A NON TECHNICAL PERSON TO INSTALL NEW ON/OFF SWITCH FOR THIS MODEL?

Hi Ian, You'd need to remove the fascia panel to fit these. It would be worth checking if you're able to do this before.
