Description

The belt facilitates the wash cycle and connects to your washing machine drum

The washing machine belt is a conduit for transferring rotational power from the motor to the drum or agitator. Made of flexible rubber or rubber-like material, this belt connects the motor and facilitates the rotation of the drum or agitator to start the washing or agitation process.

How do I know if my washing machine belt is getting bad?

If you notice a loud squealing or screeching noise during the wash or spin cycle, it could indicate a worn-out belt. When the drum or agitator is not spinning or agitating properly, or if it's rotating inconsistently or sluggishly, it could be a failing belt.

If any of these symptoms are present, replace the washing machine belt.

What is the j6 stand for on the belt that u say fits my machine as I have a belt 1200j5 but it is to big
By Diane Ricketts - Portsmouth - 07/04/2020
Hi Diane, J6 is the width of the belt. 1200 is the length, so as long as the original and existing both have the same number it will be the same length.
