A quality iitem at a great price

Bought this to replace one that I'd broken when trying to remove it. The original was completely furred up and the brittle plastic had given way. This part must be an upgrade as (a) this has a black cap and the original was all white, and (b) the cap is separate and made from tougher plastic. Took 4 days to descale the original, and then the replacement fitted like a glove.

No major problems. Almost direct replacement, slightly shorter but workable. Decided to swap washer over and use original instead, only needed a new washer. Pity you don't sell just the washer. Gave 4 stars because it was not exact direct replacement.
Better Than Original

Just received this part for the Bosch Classixx Express 1200S since Ive had this washing machine for a while as i got it second hand the plastic snapped on the old filter which was caused water to flood the floor. So ordered the part from RansomSpares and to my surprise it worked like a dream at first i thought it didn't fit since it was a tad smaller in height comparing it to the old one. Now i can get back to washing my clothes Thanks Again Life Saver. Will order again next time im in need of Spares.

My Bosch ClassiXX wasn't new to me and it has done a sterling job. Unfortunately the pump cap/filter cap got stuck (probably due to the hard water). I got a bit heavy handed with a hammer and was mortified that I had condemned the poor machine to the tip. BUT NO! Ransom Spares had a replacement part and it is superior to the original, not a leak or a dribble. I am overjoyed that my 2001 2nd hand machine rattles on, the perfect combo of German engineering and make do and mend, THANK YOU Ransom Spares

Not many sites had this particular part, it was relatively expensive but fits well and has solved the problem. It was very quickly delivered. However this is the second review I have been asked to do - the first was for a third party on behalf of Ransom Spares.
