As described. Seems good quality. Fitting was straightforward.

DOOR SEALS COLLECT A LOT OF GUNGE WHERE IT CANNOT BE SEEN,AND CANNOT BE CLEANED--VERY UNHYGIENIC THEREFORE A REPLACEMENT SHOULD BE FITTED WHEN THE VISIBLE SECTION BECOMES STAINED/FOULED RANSOM PROVIDES EXACT REPLACEMENT--ITS NOT SIMPLE TO FIT,BUT THE VIDEO MAKES IT A LOT EASIER TO UNDERSTAND AND DO THE JOB MY MACHINE IS NOW GOOD FOR ANOTHER COUPLE OF YEARS,AND THE COST OF THE NEW PART IS GOOD VALUE

The only gripe I have is that the installed seal seems off centre, vertically. It's centre seems to be a little above the door' centre giving the bottom 'a better seal' (more contact surface) than the top. This is where a layman like myself is inadequate for reviewing. I don't know if it is a compensation for the degradation in use (giving it room to stretch) or a slight error in manufacture or storage that distorted the component. Nor do I know if it is permanent or not. I have made sure all the ridges are fully slotted into the correct flaps and the clips are fully installed. The result makes the door considerably harder to close but is secure and have had no leaks as of yet.

Our washing machine started to smell fusty and it steadily got worse. I messed around for months, stipping it down, cleaning all the pipes, using those cleaner that you put in the drum and nothing worked. I could see some mold on the old seal so eventually decided to get a new one. Don't know why I waited so long. For less than £20 and fitted within 20 mins (only needed to remove the lid so just 2 screws) the machine is like new. Don't mess around like I did. Just get order one and get it changed.
