Prefer to buy from a proven, reputable supplier and very pleased that the price for this product was better than elsewhere, even with p&p. Delivery was within timescale and the quality was first class as always from Ransom. A bit fiddly to fit as it’s very thin wire but, as with all of these door clips/bands, it goes on much easier when you lubricate the rubber seal that it fits over. A relatively easy part to fit and well within most people’s capabilities.

This was very good value and considerably cheaper than the same product on other sites. Also, after watching the online video, I had no problems at all with fitting it.

The Seal retainer is one of those parts that most of the time you don't have to replace, it just comes off and then can be put back on once the other work is complete. In this case, the machine lives in a shed outdoors, so the old retainer had failed, due to condensation and rust, the new retainer went on in less than 30 seconds once the rest of the repairs had been completed. It's a simple part, and not an outrageous price, and if you need one, you really need it. Would be happy to order again if the need arose.

Came well packaged and is simple enough to fit, the fitting is quite tight, you just need to work your way around the door seal, start from the top of the spring and finish at the bottom, a screwdriver helps at the very end, just put it between the door seal and the retainer and pry it on, let the spring do the work
