My Creda washing machine is over 20 years old and is still excellent. Of course bits wear out in that time. I had bodged the original worn out drum fill hose with an extra bit of guttering downpipe. As a result the spin mode would try to chuck the powder drawer out of the cabinet ( it never managed this but there was much noise generated in the attempt ! ) A brand new hose of course sorted this. It is made from good, flexible rubber/plastic and has made my machine sound like new again now that the drawer is well decoupled from the drum. If the new hose lasts as long as the original, I would thoroughly recommend.
