Description
Door seal prevents leaks during your washer’s cycles
The rubber gasket in the door seal sits between the washing machine's drum and its outer housing. It forms a snug seal to stop any soap or water from leaking out when the machine is washing and spinning your clothes.
Signs you need to replace the door seal
The door seal rubber gasket needs replacement if it shows signs of wear, such as cracks, tears, or mould growth.
Water stains or rust near the door seal meeting the drum or frame suggest a faulty gasket, allowing water to leak. A worn gasket leads to more vibration and noise during washing as it can't stabilise the drum effectively and cause increased vibrations.

Good value for money
Easy to fit with washing up liquid as a lubricant. I was able to rotate the seal to make sure the drain holes were exactly at the bottom. Purchased a generic type 2 years ago which failed where it had been folded in transit. This one was not folded.

Success through perseverence!
Delivery by Royal Mail efficient. Correct part for my 8yr old Creda. Video very clear, excellent presentation but shown on a Bosch ie the easy one where the front lifts off to gain simple access. Through the top fitting the inside seal took a long time and thin arms. Learning by trial and error thought I had done it but did not see the sping was not fully fitted at the bottom so flooded the floor and had to start again. Second time round I had more trouble leavering on the outer wire retainer and holding the seal in the correct position. Suddenly the white plastic which held the ends of the circular wire at the top came off and all was revealed with a ratchet clip - it was then easy to replace and squeeze together. Working fine, pleased with my achievement. Expected to get a discount due to previous review but never found where I put in code so was charged full price despite a comment sent with order.
