Door seal for leak-free clothes washing and spinning
The washing machine's door seal is situated in the space between the drum and the outside casing. Throughout the washing and spinning cycles, a tight door seal stops water and detergent leaks.
When do you replace the door seal?
If the rubber gasket around the door shows wear, like cracks, tears, or mould, it needs replacing. Water stains or rust nearby signal a faulty gasket causing leaks. A worn gasket leads to more noise and vibration during washing as it can't stabilise the drum properly.
