This is a genuine wiring harness for your door interlock. Insulated to protect the wires from damage.

It's a conduit for electrical signals. Has slots on both ends for terminal to terminal connection.

Makes sure the door interlock mechanism and the control board or timer module connects securely.

Also acts as a safety feature that sends signals to the control system when the washing machine door is closed. You can't start the wash cycle when the door is open. Less washing-related accidents.

Fitted a new door lock and found charring on wiring so changed at the same time. A little fiddly but if you take photo’s before you start no problem. Changing the door lock on my Indesit IWD7145 washing machine seems to have cured an irritating F06 error I was getting. Good quality equipment from a quality supplier.
