Good replacement item
This is a direct replacement for the original handle, I have fitted a few of these now, they always break at the pivot point when folks try to open the door before the timer unlocks it. Can be fiddly to fit, my advice would be to photo the handle and spring position when you open up the door so that you can position the new one easily.

Great product
I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to find the same handle as the one that had broken. I found it easily on ransom spares and could check my machine number on their list of suited machines. Really easy to fit as new handle was identical to the old one. Great value too!

Hotpoint door handle
Product matched colour perfectly to original. The item didnt come with install instructions so had to follow how i removed the broken item. Only thing was that item that was broken wasnt clear on how metal catch was to sit before putting back together. I think the item was of good quality and fairly priced. Only disappointing thing was postage. I paid extra for next day delivery(ordered on a friday received tuesday? ). I dont think that the web page should allow you to he able to choose next day after close of buisness on a friday as order only takes place on a monday, in this instance giving you next day being tues.? If a Next time hopefully my machine will breakdown mid week?

Ransom to the rescue
Washer door wouldn't open, resorted to using string method to open the catch, to discover the door catch was indeed broken. Ordered replacement part, which arrived during Christmas period! ... Impressed. Watched video tutorial (great idea), fitted in half an hour, up and running. One happy household.
