My washing machine has a well known problem with the paddles breaking this is the second paddle I've replaced now. Is there a stronger alternative to the hoover drum paddle? I am finding myself replacing them every couple of months is that normal? I do use my washing machine a lot.

Hi Kelly, we can only supply the genuine original Hoover paddles. I'd recommend putting your hand in the drum, applying pressure and slowly spinning it to see if you can feel anything catching on the drum, ripping out the paddles. Occasionally items can fall through the drum in to the tub, meaning the paddles fall off more often than expected.
