Cheap fix
I got this part in the hope to fix my washing machine as the wash cycle was going on for ages.i fitted this part and by magic my washing machine is working perfect again.not bad for the really cheap price.so happy with it.

All I required
The element was a suitable replacement and worked perfectly. It only took a few minutes to fit. I suggest you look on YouTube and find a video and ensure you can get the old one out before you order. Take a picture of the wiring so there is no doubt when you get the new one. The important tip is to remove the nut then tap the bolt in as this releases the pressure on the gasket that holds it in. Because it will be stuck with crud and fur this may take a few take taps. As a result washing machine fixed cheaply. I recommend Ransom Spares have used them before and will again.

It was not obvious how to remove the existing part, although there is a video on the web that shows the procedure clearly enough. I'd say that no-one would figure it out without some kind of help, but it was straightforward to do, once seen. Also, the part supplied lacks the metal plate on the original part, and which is clearly shown on the web site's photo, so I was concerned that it was not the correct part. Nevertheless, it appeared to fit anyway and so far it seems to work just fine. Much better price than from Hotpoint direct.

hotpoint heater element
the staff were really helpfull on the phone and advised which was the correct element i needed.i ordered the part which came the next day and fitted it within 5 minutes.the element was of an excellent standard and very good value for money.hotpoint wanted at least £40 for the same part.i will purchase from you again when required.many thanks and lot's of love.
