This is a pair of genuine carbon brushes for your washing machine motor.
Carbon brushes touch the spinning armature, which helps connect all the electrical components and sends power to the drum or pump. The brushes pull double duty, keeping an eye on how fast the motor goes and making sure everything runs smoothly.
Your carbon brushes need to be replaced when they wear down. Damaged carbon brushes give you reduced motor performance, intermittent operation, or even motor failure.
Watch our video on how to replace carbon brushes.
These carbon brushes are from Candy. You can also check other suitable brands from the list above.
Before ordering, please verify that this set fits your model using our compatibility checker.

Safety Warning - Always unplug from the mains before carrying out any repairs.
Good carbons, packed well, good delivery times. Only reason I'm writing the review on a set of carbons is down to RansomSpares good customer service. I have used them several times now and I have always found them eager to help get the right part. Just ensure you have your Model and serial number and any other identifying numbers can be useful.
Was contemplating buying a new washing machine but had a look on web and Ransom was selling carbon brushes for the motor. Took the plunge and took motor out brushes were shot. Ordered OEM brushes and fitted - washing machine running like a dream. Good online advice from Ransom - like their business ethic -repair rather than throw away and buy new.
Perfect part for our needs. Exactly as described on the website. Quick delivery.
Problem with the washing machine drum not turning even though other functions of the machine appeared to be satisfactory. Deduced the problem possibly worn carbon brushes. Ordered the replacement parts from Ransoms, I had to find the number on the electric motor - make and model of the washing machine irrelevant. Removal of the old carbon brushes was not that easy until I acquired a 5.5mm socket spanner from Axminster. Old brushes appeared to my untrained eye to be OK but when new brushes were installed the machine worked as new. Installation of the new brushes was easy with the correct tool. A word of caution, the removal of the spade connectors from the brushes is a bit of a fiddle until you can figure out the anti-vibration locking mechanism. As this occurred two days before Christmas there was understandably some pressure! Very good service from Ransoms, part was delivered when they said it would be and the part fitted and fixed what would have been a broken machine - result.
good genuine product with a very good price tag and fast delivery ,fitting very easy total time 30 mins
