Carbon brushes establish contact with the spinning armature through attachment to the motor.
The carbon brushes facilitate the necessary electrical connection to enable power transmission to the drum or pump. They also regulate the electrical current and control the motor's speed and operation.
Carbon brushes need to be replaced when they wear down or become too short. The constant friction and contact with the spinning armature gradually wear out the carbon brushes over time.
This wear down gives you reduced motor performance, intermittent operation, or even motor failure.

I ordered this on behalf of my customer. We received it quickly and were happy with the quality as well as ease of installation.
Once the motor was removed changing the brushes was was just a matter of removing the connecting cable and undoing two screws. Reverse and job done - 5 minutes max. Washing machine now happy and doesn't keep stopping. Original part so expect it to last many years.

Hi, This part is listed as compatible with AHD 127V 31005351 providing it has a CETEC motor. My washing machine motor says it is a Haier, can you please tell me if these brushes are correct for an AHD 127V 31005351 with a Haier motor. Alternatively, can you please let me know which ones are correct?
