bought these knowing they where not for my washer, however i knew the carbon brush would fit my plastic case holders, so anyone who has the Hoover washing machine thats dyn8144d1x/1-80 model and you have the E08 error code on the machine then these are the brushes for you, all you need to do is take off the plastic case which is easy fit new brushes to your old plastic cases, the reason if you have not noticed is the locating lugs on these are different and wont fit your motor so swap over and ya back up and running, hope this helps
Even though i ordered the wrong style of brush. and they didn't fit onto my motor, they were very easy to fit into the old casing. What should have been a 10 minute job took just 20. No engineer call out costs, definitely worth buying.
Use the existing plastic parts of the brush holder. The carbon brushes are almost identical to manufacturers original (in dimensions).
The brushes listed for my machine were quite expensive and not in stock. I took a chance that the brushes themselves (in the metal sleves) were the same accross the board, and bought these. It didn't take much to adapt them to fit the plastic casings from my machine, and they work fine.
These brushes were exactly as required and fitted perfectly. The motor was transformed and returned to full power as it should be. It was easy to find the required part on the website and processing and delivery was first class.
